Job Title: Maintenance Technician

UAP Inc. is looking to expand their technician team by adding a technician to support the automated warehouse system of their Cambridge facility.

The candidate will carry out, among other activities:

1. Perform maintenance activities on the installed system to ensure functionality and reliability.
2. Supervise maintenance tasks and manage spare parts effectively to enhance efficiency.
3. Record all technical team activities accurately in the CMMS.
4. Provide timely and effective support to the operations team, ensuring a ‘right first time’ approach.
5. Attend periodic operations meetings and provide emergency maintenance support as needed.
6. Address maintenance issues and manage internal escalation processes efficiently.
7. Monitor and optimize on-site maintenance activities, response times, and adherence to quality standards.
8. Work closely with the operations team to ensure optimal system performance.

Qualifications

To join our team, you need:

• A technical diploma in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or automation fields.
• Competence in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, including sensor technologies and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Experience in performing routine maintenance and commissioning mechatronic systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS tools and a solid understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on optimizing automated systems.
