Maintenance Technician (Dual Ticket Millwright and Electrician)

Job Summary: To build, inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment in support of manufacturing activities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant equipment.
• Read mechanical and electrical blueprints, drawings, diagrams, instructions, etc.
• Complete records and documentation as required.
• Interface with suppliers and outside support personnel.
• Work in a safe manner, demonstrating good workmanship and practices.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Qualification in Industrial Mechanic and Industrial Electrician.
• Level One (Gas Technician GT-1) is preferred, but not required.
• Proven commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of plant safety policies and procedures.
• Physical ability to stand, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Adobe Acrobat).
• Understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs (CMMS).
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and read blueprints/schematics.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekdays and weekends, day and night shifts.
