Electromechanical Assembler

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to work independently in a designated area, assembling magnetic actuators and other components based on process control documents. The role requires assembling from a mechanical perspective and soldering components to IPC standards, such as cables and printed circuit boards, utilizing tools like screwdrivers and torque wrenches. A successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble magnetic actuators and components using process control documents.
  • Solder components to IPC standards, including cables and printed circuit boards.
  • Use tools such as screwdrivers and torque wrenches for mechanical assembly.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when working with small parts.
  • Participate in daily 'Escalation' meetings to discuss safety and protocol.
  • Document work accurately and effectively.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of electrical assembly experience.
  • 1+ years of soldering experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Excel.
  • Ability to read LCR meters, micrometers, DVMs, and calipers.
  • Experience with schematic troubleshooting and assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • IPC Certification.
  • Experience with electrical testing (training provided).
  • Ability to use hand tools and torque wrenches.
  • Excel macros proficiency.

Work Environment

Join a team of 11 on the production end of the building, working independently at your own station. Though the role is independent, you will be part of daily meetings to discuss safety and protocol. The work is in a casual dress code environment with steel toe shoes required. The role offers a flexible Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with the option to start earlier if preferred, allowing for a better work-life balance.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
