Electrical Contracts Manager / Estimator

Location: Oxford

Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 DOE + vehicle, pension, and benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects throughout their lifecycle with a focus on efficiency, safety, and profitability
• Prepare quotations and tenders from drawings/specifications
• Source materials, manage subcontractors, and schedule labour
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety (RAMS)
• Support project documentation, testing, O&M, and customer liaison
• Assist in estimating and pricing for new projects when required

Requirements

• 5+ years in a similar role, ideally within MEICA or heavy industrial sectors
• Strong electrical background, especially within industrial/water projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Commercially aware with excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence (clean preferred)

Desirable

• Experience pricing projects up to £3M
• Familiarity with CAD and ability to interpret electrical designs
• Strong IT skills and confident in presenting to stakeholders
