Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Mississauga, Ontario seeks an Engineering Manager – Electrical to lead design and execution of electrical systems for a large refurbishment project. You will manage a team of up to 10 engineers, coordinate interfaces with NSP and BOP, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

This role requires 10+ years in electrical engineering, P.Eng in Ontario, and strong experience with standards (CSA N286, CSA N299), ETAP, and nuclear project delivery; occasional site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and Professional Engineer in Ontario.
• 10+ years in engineering services, refurbishments or new builds.
• 5+ years leading teams; nuclear/major life-extension assets are a plus.
• Experience interfacing with multi-discipline teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage design from concept to detailed design of Electrical Systems.
• Plan and execute work to meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate design interface between NSP and BOP portions of a nuclear power plant.
• Ensure work aligns with QA procedures, contract specs, and technical requirements.
• Interface with stakeholders and vendors to meet performance and safety targets.
• Ensure department deliverables meet budget, schedule, quality, and technical needs.
• Remove barriers impacting safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance.
• Forecast resource demands and manage up to 10 electrical engineers.
