Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Mississauga is seeking a Technical Manager to lead a team of computer engineering staff responsible for design, procurement, verification and validation of control and safety computer systems in a nuclear project environment. You will oversee 10–20 engineers, coordinate interfaces with NSP and BOP, drive safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and report to the Engineering Director, I&C.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering, Ontario P.Eng eligibility, 10+ years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer or electrical engineering from an accredited university.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario would be an asset.
• 10+ years' experience in engineering for complex projects including design and construction.
• 5+ years' experience leading engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design from concept to detailed design with quality, cost, and schedule in mind.
• Coordinate nuclear plant computer design interfaces (NSP and BOP).
• Oversee 10–20 computer engineering staff and approve technical deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with engineering and QA procedures, specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Forecast resource needs and drive client relationship management.
