Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Mississauga, Ontario, seeks a Senior Manager to provide technical leadership for Deterministic Safety Analysis activities on a new build Nuclear Power Plant project within a matrix organization. You will lead engineering teams and multi-disciplinary work packages during design and build phases.

The role requires 10 years of DSA experience in a nuclear project, deep knowledge of Canadian safety tooling and regulations, and excellent communication to coordinate with licensing,

Qualifications

• 10 years of DSA experience in a nuclear project environment.
• Thorough knowledge of safety engineering tools and methods in Canada.
• Strong understanding of Canadian nuclear regulations relevant to DSA.

Responsibilities

• Approving technical documents prepared by staff under them.
• Planning and executing work to meet quality, cost and schedule.
• Removing barriers that impact deliverables to meet project requirements.
• Providing technical advice to staff and management.
• Participating in the preparation of commercial proposals and approving technical content.
• Forecasting resource demands for the assigned work scope.
• Interfacing with clients and delivering engineering products per customer specs.
• Collaborating with marketing and other groups to maintain client relations.
