Job summary

Renfrew County District School Board is seeking an Educational Support Personnel for Highview Public School in Pembroke. The role is full-time (35 hours per week) and involves providing essential student support, mobility assistance, feeding, toileting and positioning as needed.

Applicants should have a minimum two-year college diploma in social services or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Training in Autism, CPS, WHMIS and lifting are assets.

Qualifications

• Must have a two-year college diploma in social services or equivalent experience.
• Ability to assist with toileting, diapering, feeding, lifting, transferring, positioning and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support to students with daily living needs.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning and seating as required.
• Support classroom staff to implement individualized education plans.
• Ensure safety and dignity of students during all activities.
