Job summary

Corby Spirit and Wine Limited is seeking a District Manager to drive sales growth across Retail customers in the Edmonton area. Reporting to the Sales Manager Alberta, you will manage relationships, achieve targets, and execute national and regional marketing strategies in a dynamic, HQ-backed environment.

The role requires strong organization, self-motivation, and exceptional communication skills, with travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience
• 3+ years of related experience in wine and spirits is an asset
• University degree or relevant work experience
• Travel required within the territory and provincial sales meetings
• Valid driver’s license; company vehicle provided

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth within territory by executing national and regional marketing strategies
• Expand distribution in retail stores, private stores, and with licensees
• Set and achieve sales objectives and oversee activities at outlets
• Launch new products to market and manage promotions
• Track calls, prepare administrative reports, and manage shelving and displays
• Collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to changing needs
• Develop knowledge of market landscape and key players to maximize opportunities
• Define and implement a commercial plan aligned with strategy
