Job description
Overview

AlgaeCal is seeking a top-tier Ecommerce Coordinator to join our team and propel our revenue growth to new heights. This is an opportunity to work on bigger funnels, deeper data, and a scalable site strategy. We are an eCommerce company and value extensive eCommerce experience.

AlgaeCal aims to end the fear of bone loss. In the United States, an estimated 54 million people have low bone density. AlgaeCal offers the world’s only clinically-backed natural solution to this problem, helping people who worry about bone loss. If that excites you, this could be the place for you.

What you’ll do

This role focuses on optimizing the ecommerce experience to improve conversion, capture more leads, and support revenue growth. You’ll work on full-funnel strategies that align paid media, email, and site experience to drive growth.

Qualifications & Ideal fit
  • A sixth sense for what makes people click. You’ve spent a couple of years optimizing pages, fixing UX friction, and lifting conversion rates. You know how to make a site more effective — and you’re ready to do more.
  • A knack for turning insights into income. You can leverage heatmaps, scroll depth, and site speed data to identify friction and implement fixes quickly.
  • A strategic brain with an operator’s discipline. You’re focused on building high-performance funnels and understand how pages, pop-ups, and UTM parameters fit into the bigger picture.
  • Full-funnel fluency. You grasp the customer journey from first ad impression to post-purchase follow-up and know how to stitch paid social, paid display, email, and other channels into a seamless experience.
  • Ecommerce instincts honed by experience. You’ve tested upsells, launched cross-sells, implemented cart savers, and written effective call-to-action copy.
  • An obsession with A/B testing. You run tests on copy, design, flow, and timing and rely on data to guide decisions.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly. You translate data into actionable plans for stakeholders.
  • Experience with Shopify is a plus. Health or supplement product experience is beneficial, but growth capability is the priority.

Other qualities We value three core qualities: humble, hungry to learn, and people-smart. If you don’t demonstrate these, this role may not be the right fit.

What you’ll earn & benefits

Salary is discussed after an initial introduction. We offer above-market pay for the right person, with a benefits package including:

  • A generous healthcare package
  • Monthly team events and activities
  • Flexible Stat Holidays with the option to bank days
  • Weekly team lunches
  • Casual dress code
  • Dog-friendly office in Yaletown, near SkyTrain

Culture is important to us. We work hard to change lives and have fun and reward ourselves too.
