Salary Range : $80,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually + Commission

Job Duties & Responsibilities :

  1. Establish contact with prospects, qualify potential buyers, schedule sales calls, follow up on leads, and maintain high sales activity levels.
  2. Determine customer needs and develop sales strategies to effectively communicate our product offerings.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in the selling cycle from prospect identification to closing sales.
  4. Maintain an active proposal backlog to support sales goals.
  5. Develop estimates and proposals, coordinating with subcontractors as needed.
  6. Create sales plans for assigned accounts, qualify opportunities, and maintain sales activity records.
  7. Develop technical knowledge of Climatec products and competitors’ offerings related to building functions.
  8. Stay informed about local and national codes affecting system and building configurations.
  9. Provide leadership and support in estimation, design, installation, startup, commissioning, and training for building systems.
  10. Build relationships with consulting engineers, building owners, and contractors to enhance Climatec’s project positioning.
  11. Collaborate with other sales representatives and participate in external construction organizations.
  12. Support ongoing service engineering and existing building systems.
  13. Prepare and maintain sales and expense reports timely.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications :

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. At least 5+ years’ experience in a technical or operational role related to HVAC, electronics, or building systems + construction.
  3. 5+ years’ sales experience involving customer interaction and solution presentation, especially in construction and owner-direct sales.
  4. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently.
  7. Fluent in Spanish and English for Miami only.

Preferred Qualifications :

  1. Two-year technical degree in HVAC, Electronics, or related fields.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, or related fields.
  3. 7+ years’ experience in technical roles and sales, especially in HVAC or controls.
  4. Experience with HVAC operations and systems like Alerton.
  5. Willingness to develop selling skills independently.

Essential Job Functions :

  1. Ability to lift and carry drawings, computers, and materials.
  2. Maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  3. Physically capable of kneeling, stooping, and crawling.
