Job description

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for finding and generating new business for YLH Advisory Group and closing sales. We are looking for experienced, professional people who can work independently.

Qualifications
  1. A Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in any field
  2. Excellent communication skills (in-person and over the phone)
  3. A minimum of 2 years selling consulting services to a broad spectrum of clients. Prior work experience with a consulting firm is a definite asset.
  4. Previous account management experience, preferably in the technology sector
  5. A proven track record using a sales methodology to generate leads, open doors, and manage the sales cycle to contract signature
  6. Experience in SR&ED and/or government funding sales is an asset
  7. Interest in learning about innovations in science and technology
  8. Must be able to travel and have your own vehicle with a valid driver’s license
  9. Experience working in a virtual and remote environment
Responsibilities
  1. Selling business services to new clients (SR&ED and potentially other government funding programs)
  2. Cold-calling and pre-qualifying potential clients
  3. Visiting client sites to establish rapport and qualify clients
  4. Preparing and closing quotations and agreements with clients
  5. Pre-assessing clients for program eligibility and claim size
  6. Articulating the services offered and the value our company provides
  7. Engaging with CEOs and CFOs
  8. Quantifying the value of each prospect
