Kids & Company is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated 1:1 Inclusion Support Educator to provide individualized support for a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Schedule

This position follows a school-aged schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Tuesday: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Full-day availability required on PD Days, school closure days, and school holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within the classroom environment.
• Implement individualized strategies and supports to encourage participation, engagement, and independence.
• Support the child's social, emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with families, Centre Directors, educators, and outside professionals such as Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists.
• Maintain accurate documentation, observations, and progress records as required.
• Support transitions throughout the day and help create consistency in routines.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
• Complete daily attendance records and health and safety checks.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3).
• Previous experience supporting children with exceptionalities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is required.
• Current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Level B certification.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds.
