Job summary

Kids & Company is seeking an Early Childhood Educator - Level 2 to join our team in Cochrane, AB. This full-time role emphasizes nurturing development, empathy, and collaboration with families and professionals.

You will implement emergent curricula, maintain records, and support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. A strong team environment and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• ECE Level 2 certification required.
• Current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Level B.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping.
• Implement an Emergent Curriculum.
• Support children's emotional, physical, and behavioural well-being while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
• Maintain attendance records and complete health and safety checks.
• Work collaboratively with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as required.
• Support children through transitions in and out of the classroom.
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development workshops.
