BrightPath Kids in Maple Ridge, BC is hiring an Early Childhood Educator (Infant/Toddler) to provide a nurturing home-away-from-home for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years. Friday availability is requested to support classroom coverage and family communication.

Qualifications

• ECE Infant Toddler certificate is required.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR are required.
• Immunization and health assessment per local Health Ministry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum to support child development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years.
• Assess children’s abilities, interests and needs; discuss progress with families and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers, management and families; attend staff meetings and professional development.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials; perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator (Infant/Toddler), you will work side‑by‑side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children ages 6 weeks - 3 years old in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well‑being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co‑workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
