Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Richmond, AB is hiring for a full-time position in early childhood education. The role focuses on implementing BrightPath’s curriculum, ensuring a safe and engaging classroom, and coordinating with parents and staff.

The ideal candidate has an ECE Level 3 or higher (or equivalent), current First Aid/CPR, and meets local childcare requirements. A positive, proactive approach and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• ECE Level 3 Certification OR B.Ed./Equivalent is required.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR required.
• Meet province requirements for childcare employment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support child development.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment.
• Assess children’s abilities and progress; discuss with parents and staff.
• Establish collaborative relationships with coworkers, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development as needed.
• Participate in maintaining classroom materials and cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
