Job summary

BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care in Maple Ridge Meadows, BC is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (Infant/Toddler) to provide a nurturing home-away-from-home for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years. Fridays shift available with no evenings or weekends.

You will develop and implement developmentally appropriate activities, support families, and collaborate with staff to maintain a safe, clean classroom environment that aligns with BrightPath’s curriculum.

Qualifications

• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
