Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Educator at Sage Hill, AB. The role focuses on implementing BrightPath’s curriculum, ensuring child wellbeing, and engaging with families to discuss progress.

Applicants must hold ECC Level 3 Certification or a B.Ed./Equivalent and meet provincial childcare requirements, with current First Aid/CPR and health clearances. Competitive benefits and a supportive team culture are offered.

• Early Childhood Education - Level 3 Certification or B.Ed./Equivalent is required.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum to support children's development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment for children.
• Assess children's abilities, interests, and needs and discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers, management, and families to support children's growth.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
