Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Chestermere, AB is seeking an energetic early childhood educator to implement our curriculum and nurture children in a safe, engaging environment. You will collaborate with families and staff to support balanced development and continuous learning.

Requirements include ECE Level 3 or B.Ed./equivalent, standard First Aid, infant CPR, and provincial childcare eligibility. Full-time benefits include health coverage and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum that supports child development.
• Maintaining a safe, healthy and organized classroom environment.
• Assessing children's abilities, interests and needs and discussing progress with families.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
• Other duties to support classroom operations.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
