Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Edmonton is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to work alongside teachers and families, providing a nurturing home-away-from-home for children in care.

You will develop and implement curriculum-based activities, foster a safe learning environment, and communicate progress with parents while collaborating with colleagues. This role offers diverse duties and opportunities for professional growth within a thriving childcare network.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education certification or higher.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum to support children’s development.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment protecting children’s well-being.
• Assess abilities, interests, and needs and discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Establish collaborative relationships with coworkers, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
