Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Chestermere, AB is hiring an Early Childhood Educator to join our Busy Bees childcare community. This full-time role offers daytime hours with no evenings or weekends, competitive pay, and a childcare discount.

You will collaborate with teachers and families to implement BrightPath’s curriculum, support children's development, maintain a safe, clean classroom, and participate in staff meetings and professional development.

Qualifications

• ECE certification required or equivalent.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discussing progress with parents and staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:
