Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Sage Hill, AB is hiring an Early Childhood Educator for a full-time role. The pay range is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, with the Government Wage Enhancement on top.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing a BrightPath curriculum, ensuring children's well-being, assessing progress, engaging families, attending meetings, and maintaining a clean classroom. Requirements include ECE Level 3 or B.Ed./Equivalent, First Aid, CPR, immunizations.

Qualifications

• ECE certification or degree required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment for children.
• Assess children's abilities and discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Collaborate with coworkers and families; attend meetings; pursue PD as needed.
• Maintain classroom materials and cleanliness; perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath’s curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
