Job description

Join to apply for the Project Coordinator role at Starlight Investments

Reporting to the Director, Capital Expenditures, the Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing daily departmental administration and residential development projects, including timelines, schedules, notifications, approval processes, contracts, etc.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate schedules, communicate project progress, and assist with documentation in collaboration with Project Managers.
  • Participate in tender and contract preparation, including receipt and opening of tenders.
  • Organize and attend project-related meetings on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
  • Monitor tenant notifications, issue purchase orders, and maintain project timelines and notification trackers.
  • Communicate with Property Managers and stakeholders regarding invoices, purchase orders, change orders, and permits.
  • Maintain communication with vendors about site coordination, invoicing, payments, and permits.
  • Ensure proper project close-out procedures, documentation, and warranty submissions.
  • Manage telecom projects and trackers.
  • Support suite renovation administration, including invoice processing, change orders, and purchase orders.
  • Provide coverage for vacation and support for suite renovation tasks and reception duties.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Experience :

  • Post-secondary education (University Degree in Business or Engineering, or College Diploma in Business or Construction Management).
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
