Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Casualty Claims Adjustment to join our team in Vancouver, BC. The position location is flexible, offering in-office, hybrid, or fully remote working arrangements. The successful candidate will evaluate claims through loss investigation and negotiate settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements, while maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships. The base salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $70,000 annually, with additional incentives such as bonuses or commissions. Total compensation will depend on prior experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  1. Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information
  2. Accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files
  3. Examine policies and settle claims while managing claims costs and complying with provincial licensing regulations
  4. Maintain accurate billing, and time and expense records
  5. Collaborate with managers to maintain client relations
Qualifications
  1. Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in handling casualty claims, including liability work such as bodily injury
  2. Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field is an asset
  3. Independent Adjusting License is required
  4. CIP Designation or progress towards it is required
  5. Experience in road adjusting, including investigation and detailed reporting of multi-line claims
  6. Strong computer and reporting skills, including proficiency with Office 365
  7. Excellent customer service skills and a team-oriented attitude
