Qualifications

Job description

This position will serve as the primary point of contact for all areas of account management for our customers in the region, as well as fostering growth through developing new business with new customers and expanded product line offerings. The role will also involve effective communication and collaboration with local technical support staff, as well as corporate engineering, coordination, and manufacturing departments, to support our customers and internal sales efforts throughout the region. This position reports directly to the L&H Canada General Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct all activities with a strong commitment to the safety of employees and customers.
  2. Develop, implement, and execute strategic plans to acquire and grow new customers in the Oil Sands region.
  3. Manage all sales and account management duties for regional customers, including providing direct sales and support (remote and onsite), building customer relationships, liaising with internal departments, managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and overseeing component audits and inspections.
  4. Support field service personnel in planning and executing onsite service work.
  5. Assist in the development and enhancement of products based on field performance and customer feedback.
  6. Support engineering and marketing efforts for product development, proposals, and regional customer engagement.
  7. Manage local spare parts inventory through regular audits.
Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical support.
  • Understanding of heavy industrial services, including welding, machining, and mechanics.

  • Ability to use precision measurement equipment for audits and reverse engineering.
Experience & Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing sales, technical support, customer service, or marketing role.
  • Experience with fixed and mobile mining equipment.
  • Preferred certifications: OSSA CSTS / BSO and others.
