This position requires a supportive team player who can learn new skills, work with a broad range of stakeholders, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and complex environment.

As a Business Development Associate, you will be at the forefront of building strategic relationships with prospects and clients. Your role involves understanding client goals, delivering solutions that drive their success, and ensuring a smooth, effective journey that exceeds expectations. You will work closely with our project teams to deliver exceptional service and support client growth and transformation.

Expectations of this Role
Business Development
  • Conduct research to identify potential clients and generate leads through outbound prospecting.
  • Utilize channels like cold calling, digital outreach, networking events, partnerships, and RFP responses.
  • Facilitate sales calls and convert leads into opportunities.
  • Manage opportunities through the sales process to close business.
  • Collaborate to identify and grow opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Work with internal teams to develop solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Host presentations and demonstrations of our products and services.
  • Support content development for sales collateral, proposals, and bids.
  • Use our CRM to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and report on goals.
Client Relationship Management
  • Understand client needs and objectives, ensuring solutions meet their strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities and develop project and service recommendations.
Strategic Planning
  • Contribute to business development strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Develop personal strategic plans to achieve company goals.
Market Awareness
  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to advise clients effectively and maintain a competitive edge.
What You Will Bring to Punchcard
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business strategy and technology opportunities within consulting or sales roles.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, especially Word and PowerPoint.
  • A willingness to learn and experiment with new areas.
  • Comfort with technology and a passion for storytelling.
  • High initiative, motivation, and enthusiasm.
