Our client just east of London, Ontario, is looking to add a Strategic Salesperson to their team.
The incumbent will be responsible for marketing, promoting, and profitably selling products and services to existing and potential new customers in accordance with customer requirements.
Sales personnel represent our client in issues involving the company's suppliers and the purchase of products from those suppliers. They are involved in sourcing new products and negotiating pricing with suppliers. The role reports to the Director of the Strategic Sales Team, Director of New Business Development, or Operations Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales personnel are involved in all aspects of product sales, including but not limited to:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with additional relevant education or experience, particularly in sales.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with sales-related technology.
Ability to work independently to meet sales, divisional, and corporate goals efficiently.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures related to the Strategic Sales Team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new procedures, practices, and policies.
At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry, understanding industry standards and expectations.
