We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for our Bus Division to oversee customer relations in an assigned territory. The RSM will handle all sales aspects, from lead qualification and product presentations to quoting, order processing, and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer needs, Crestline’s product advantages, and experience in the bus industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve sales targets including unit sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction (NPS).
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, effectively promoting Crestline’s bus offerings.
- Conduct territory-focused market research, develop sales tools, and hold regular customer meetings.
- Coordinate with production teams to align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, update forecasts, and represent Crestline at trade shows.
- Prepare preliminary quotes for inquiries using marketing materials and tools.
- Collaborate with Sales Coordinators to finalize quotes and confirm orders promptly.
- Follow up on quotes, manage expiries, and secure orders aligned with customer timelines.
- Complete the sales quoting process according to established procedures and policies.
- Work with Sales Coordinators and Administration to ensure order accuracy.
- Coordinate with Accounting for prompt deposit invoicing after order receipt.
- Monitor order and delivery statuses, minimizing change requests after confirmation.
- Capture and submit marketing photos of completed vehicles for promotional use.
- Keep CRM data updated and track sales opportunities within your territory.
- Promote and maintain demo units, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for demonstrations.
- Support manufacturing of proof of concept, bench, and prototype systems through troubleshooting, First Article Inspections, and review of Quality Escapes.
- Assess risk by developing a complete HVAC subsystem DFMEA.
- Ensure designs meet Design for Manufacture and Design for ease of maintenance/service requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably with capital equipment in a B2B environment; municipal and government client experience is an asset.
- College or university degree in business or marketing, or a combination of Grade 12 and relevant sales training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with CRM tools and quoting systems.
- Valid driver’s license and passport; air brakes certification if vehicle requirements necessitate.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proven accuracy and low error work ethic.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for negotiations and relationship management.
