Pay: CA$17.60 - CA$20.50 per hour

Must either have experience in making arrests, plainclothes floor walking, catching shoplifters, uniform security within a store setting, OR Must have a willingness and an eagerness to learn the skills above.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
• Protect property and assets by maintaining a visible presence
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers
• Control access to the premises by permitting or denying entry
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms, and respond to emergencies or disturbances
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities

Skills:

• Loss Prevention: Knowledge of techniques to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security risks
• Law Enforcement: Familiarity with laws, regulations, and procedures related to security operations
• CCTV: Ability to operate and monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems effectively
• Surveillance: Proficiency in observing people, objects, or processes to gather information for security purposes
