Job summary

Emterra Group is seeking a dedicated DZ licensed driver to operate our recycling collection vehicle in Barrie, Ontario. You will load curbside materials, follow safety practices, and deliver reliable customer service while ensuring routes are completed on time and safely.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario DZ licence with a clean drivers abstract and CVOR.
• Minimum one year experience driving with DZ licence OR an AZ MELT graduate.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.
• Criminal background check required.
• Punctual, reliable, team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate recycling collection vehicle.
• Load curbside materials into the truck.
• Observe safe work practices.
• Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
