Job summary

Emterra Group is seeking a safety-focused driver to operate a side load waste collection/recycling vehicle and complete assigned routes on schedule. You will perform vehicle inspections and provide top-notch customer service while following company policies.

Ideal candidates hold a DZ license, have driving experience, and can lift up to 50 lbs. Pre-employment drug testing and a background check are required for this essential role.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario DZ driver's licence with a clean driving abstract and CVOR.
• Minimum one year experience driving with DZ licence OR an AZ MELT graduate from an accredited driving school.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Operate waste collection/recycling vehicle;
• Load curbside materials into the truck;
• Observe safe work practices;
• Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies;
• Ensure assigned routes are completed timely and safely;
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Job Summary

Operate a side load waste collection/recycling vehicle to safely collect curbside materials, complete assigned routes on time, perform vehicle inspections, and provide excellent customer service.

Position Description

• Operate waste collection/recycling vehicle;
• Load curbside materials into the truck;
