Job summary

Emterra Group in Woodstock, Ontario, is seeking an energetic DZ driver to join our waste collection and recycling team. You will operate rear-pack or manual side loader trucks, load curbside materials, and uphold safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario DZ driver's licence with a clean CVOR.
• Minimum one year experience driving with DZ licence OR an AZ MELT graduate from an accredited driving school.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.
• Criminal background check required.
• Punctual, reliable, team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate waste collection/recycling vehicles (Rear Pack and Manual side loader).
• Load curbside materials into the truck.
• Observe safe work practices.
• Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

• As this is a safety-sensitive position, successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required
• Successful completion of a criminal background check
• Punctual, reliable, team player
