Job summary

Weinrich Contracting Ltd. is seeking an experienced Dozer Operator for earthworks construction. You will grade to plan, push dirt, and maintain a clean, safe machine on long days.

Require 3–5+ years in heavy civil construction, and proficiency with CAT or John Deere machines. Willingness to work long hours is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years dozer experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong at grading, pushing dirt, and moving material.
• Experience on CAT, John Deere, or similar equipment.
• Able to complete daily machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Solid grade control and ability to read plans and stakes.
• Safety-minded with strong job site awareness.
• Willing to work long hours in all weather conditions.
• Team player with clear on-site communication.
• Able to adapt and problem-solve when conditions change.
• GPS and machine control experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate dozer to grade and push dirt to project specs.
• Read and apply grade stakes and plans on site.
• Perform daily checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Communicate with crew and adapt to changing conditions.

DOZER OPERATOR - Earthworks Construction

WCL is looking for an experienced Dozer Operator who knows their machine and takes pride in good work. If you can grade clean, work safe, and handle long days, we want you on our crew.

What You Need

• 3–5+ years dozer experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong at grading, pushing dirt, and moving material.
• Experience on CAT, John Deere, or similar equipment.
• Able to complete daily machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Solid grade control and ability to read plans and stakes.
• Safety-minded with strong job site awareness.
• Willing to work long hours in all weather conditions.
• Team player with clear on-site communication.
• Able to adapt and problem-solve when conditions change.
• GPS and machine control experience is an asset.

Required Tickets

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain).

Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch).
• 12 days on / 2 days off (every second weekend off).
• Weather dependent work.
