Job summary

Weinrich Contracting Ltd. is seeking an experienced Underground Track Loader Operator to support water and sewer crews. The role focuses on material handling, trench support, and keeping underground operations running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of track loader experience in underground heavy civil construction, with the ability to work in tight spaces and around trench crews. WHMIS CSTS 2020 may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience operating track loaders in underground water/sewer or heavy civil construction.
• Experience handling trench spoils, backfill material, and aggregate around underground services.
• Strong understanding of working around open trenches, pipe crews, and other equipment.
• Ability to work accurately in tight areas and congested job sites.
• Comfortable supporting pipe layers, topmen, and foremen as needed.
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Strong awareness of job site and trench safety.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground track loader to support earthworks for water and sewer projects.
• Handle trench spoils, backfill material, and aggregate around underground services.
• Support pipe layers and foremen; maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to minimize downtime.

UNDERGROUND TRACK LOADER OPERATOR - Water & Sewer Construction

WCL is looking for an experienced Underground Track Loader Operator to support our water and sewer crews following earthworks. This role focuses on material handling, trench support, and keeping underground operations running safely and efficiently.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 3+ years experience operating track loaders in underground water and sewer or heavy civil construction.
• Experience handling trench spoils, backfill material, and aggregate around underground services.
• Strong understanding of working around open trenches, pipe crews, and other equipment.
• Ability to work accurately in tight areas and congested job sites.
• Comfortable supporting pipe layers, topmen, and foremen as needed.
• Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Strong awareness of job site and trench safety.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

REQUIRED TICKETS:

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain).

SCHEDULE:

• 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
• 6 days on / 1 day off.
• Weather dependent work.
