Qualifications

  • 10+ years industry experience, including at least 5 years in management or operations.

  • Provide Financial & Operational Oversight: budget development and execution, drive sales growth across wholegoods, parts, and service, manage receivables, structure complex deals, monitor inventory turns and asset protection.
  • Drive Market & Customer Engagement: build customer relationships through site visits, events, and promotions; collaborate with suppliers to enhance service and product availability.
  • Lead Strategic Communication & Planning: deliver high-impact presentations, contribute to planning, manage time effectively, ensure compliant, ethical employee relations.
  • Provide Leadership & Workforce Development: lead recruitment and training with Branch Managers and HR, mentor staff, conduct performance evaluations, set KPI targets, maintain branch presence.

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Division Manager for our Southwest Ontario locations.

The Division Manager oversees all operational, financial, and human resource aspects within the assigned branches to drive sales growth, profitability, and market share. This role leads workforce development, manages budgets and assets, ensures compliance with safety and training standards, and fosters strong customer and supplier relationships. The Division Manager demonstrates strategic leadership, effective communication, and accountability to achieve long-term success for the company, employees, and customers.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Financial & Operational Oversight

  • Create, execute, and manage annual divisional budgets to ensure financial discipline and achievement of business objectives.
  • Achieve sales growth and profitability targets across all departments—wholegoods sales, parts, and service.
  • Manage divisional accounts receivable in conjunction with the Director of Credit Services.
  • Structure complex wholegoods deals and lead sales teams to close opportunities that align with inventory strategy and customer needs.
  • Monitor inventory turns and aging to achieve asset management goals while protecting company assets and ensuring appropriate product mix for sales growth.

Market & Customer Engagement

  • Achieve market share goals by executing strategic initiatives in alignment with manufacturer and company objectives.
  • Develop strong customer relationships through customer site visits and customer engagement to foster loyalty and identify new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional and networking events (e.g., customer fly-ins, open houses, recruitment events) to strengthen community presence and business growth.
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and vendors to enhance service offerings, product availability, and customer satisfaction.

Strategic Communication & Planning

  • Deliver high-impact public presentations and develop complex proposals to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic input on emerging opportunities and competitive pressures to inform future planning and business strategy.
  • Manage time and delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks and achievement of divisional goals.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to maintain compliant, ethical, and effective employee relations practices.

Leadership & Workforce Development

  • Lead recruitment, hiring, and training efforts in collaboration with Branch Managers and HR to ensure adequate staffing levels and team readiness.
  • Mentor and develop divisional employees to build a motivated, high-performing workforce aligned with company values and long-term goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and lead performance management initiatives to support continuous employee growth and accountability.
  • Establish clear performance targets for managers and evaluate results using company-provided KPIs to drive success and accountability.
  • Provide ongoing leadership presence at assigned branches to reinforce company culture, ensure compliance, and support operational excellence.
What We Look For
  • Minimum 10 years industry experience, including at least 5 years in management and/or business operations.
  • Previous deep understanding of sales, the sales process, and product support.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to positively influence both strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
