Job summary

Festo Inc. in Vancouver, BC seeks a District Sales Representative to uncover and close new opportunities in the Western Region. You will report to the District Sales Manager and operate in a high-growth environment with up to 50% travel across British Columbia and Alberta.

Location is Vancouver, Canada. A technical degree and 5+ years sales/industry experience are required. A competitive compensation package includes a base salary of CAD 100k–120k plus incentive potential.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience in sales, with knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, automation, electrical or electronics.
• Understanding of industry segment and market structure.
• Proficient in MS-Office, CRM tools, SharePoint, and Business Objects.

• Probe and identify the top territory accounts and their revenue potential.
• Establish an annual sales budget and achieve the budget through account development.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and develop target accounts.
• Analyze customer needs and develop an account management plan.

• Segmentation of different applications versus clientele.
• Communicate customer feedback and requirements to internal departments.

Compensation: Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible for a variable incentive plan. At 100% target achievement, total annual compensation is expected to be approximately $145,000 - 165,000.
