McDougall Energy Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team in Timmins, Ontario. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate daily dispatch activities, ensuring safe and efficient deliveries while meeting customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has dispatch and logistics experience in the Timmins region, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This is a rotating shift role within a busy operations environment.

• Dispatch and logistics experience, especially in Timmins region.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities; able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and dispatch deliveries to maximize efficiency.
• Provide drivers with routes and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager on repairs and maintenance.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Communicate delivery changes to customers and adjust schedules.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other office administration duties as needed.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is looking for a detail-orientatedand reliable professional to fill the position of Dispatcher to join our team in Timmins, Ontario. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is an integral member of the Operations team responsible for coordinating daily dispatch activities to ensure while also safely and efficiently completing assigned deliveries.

Responsibilities Include:

• Planning, organizing and dispatching all deliveries to maximize efficiencies and optimize equipment utilization
• Providing directions to drivers regarding routes and customer requirements
• Working with the Operations Manager and / or Lead Hands to troubleshoot repairs and truck maintenance
• Generating daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required
• Communicating and interfacing with customers regarding delivery requirements, changes to schedules and any other issues regarding their delivery
• Adhering to all company health and safety policies, standard operating procedures and established industry regulations
• Performing other office administration duties as required

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Dispatch and logistics experience along with geographical knowledge of Timmins region
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Knowledge of TSSA, WHMIS & TDG requirements is considered an asset
• Working knowledge of the fuel and propane delivery industries’ practices and processes considered an asset
• AZ/DZ license considered an asset
