Source Energy Services Dispatcher position in Alberta is responsible for assigning trucks, monitoring deliveries, and coordinating with drivers, field staff, and supervisors to ensure timely rosters and smooth shifts.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assign trucks to specific jobs within oilfield locations;
  • Review deliveries to ensure trucks arrive at delivery location in a timely manner;
  • Communicate with drivers, dispatcher(s), transload staff, field personnel and supervisors throughout the shift and at shift change for current status and issues;

What Will Help You Succeed: We are looking for individuals with a hardworking attitude, who have working knowledge of the trucking and logistics industry. Individuals must be self‑motivated and adaptable to change. Other things that will help you succeed in this role include:

  • Provincial and Federal laws, procedures, standards and other requirements are complied with by carriers during the performance of their duties;
  • Maintain current knowledge of compliance requirements for the carriers including Hours of Service and Driver Log Requirements
  • Creative mindset and ability to adapt to a constantly changing roster requirements from outside factors
  • Technically proficient computer skills
  • Starting wage: $63,000.00 per year
