Job summary

Source Energy Services is hiring a Production Operator in Peace River, AB for a full-time, on-site role. You will support sand handling, perform routine inspections, and operate plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient production.

Join a safety-focused team with a 2 weeks on / 1 week off schedule, 80 hours of vacation, and a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, life, disability, and RRSP match. A $2,500 signing bonus and an 8% monthly bonus after 60 days are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience operating light or heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Shovel and clean up sand, rock, and mud around conveyor transfer points and plant areas.
• Perform routine plant inspections within scope and report issues to the Plant Operator or Shift Supervisor.
• Observe and monitor production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Identify equipment issues or malfunctions and report them promptly.
• Operate equipment within scope (e.g., skid steer, loader, man lift, company vehicles).
• Pull product samples for quality control and follow strict quality standards.
• Perform basic plant maintenance tasks within scope.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Support production operations and assist team members as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and promote a strong safety-first culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
