Job summary

DSV Air & Sea SAU in Guelph, ON is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate freight deliveries for Ontario markets. You will manage pick-up and arrival times, track shipments in WMS, and work with drivers and transport partners to meet customer commitments.

The role requires strong Excel skills, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Shift is Sunday to Thursday, 11pm to 7am, with responsibilities aligned to health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of inbound shipments through WMS.
• Processing of all inbound and outbound paperwork.
• Tracking of all inbound and outbound shipments through Microsoft Excel and WMS.
• Inbound appointment booking for carriers via Microsoft Outlook and WMS.
• Coordinate the movement of trailers through third party shunt software.
• Coordinate the put away of received pallet in WMS.
• Coordinate with inventory / QA team on US import inspection inbound shipments to ensure all documentation is compliant.
• Work in accordance with all company Health and Safety Policies

Position Description Summary

Responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of the delivery through a dedicated fleet for freight destined to Ontario markets. Coordinate pick up and arrival, of freight on a time sensitive basis to meet customer commitments and specifications. Effectively manage driver compliment in concert with Transport company contacts. Additionally, the Dispatch Coordinator must also be committed to exceeding client expectations while respecting company policies.
