Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead and oversee the Stewarding team, ensuring sanitation and equipment readiness. The role is full-time and permanent, starting Summer 2026, with a starting rate of $26.25 per hour and pay increases at 6 months and yearly, reaching about $30.15 after three years.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating with kitchen areas, training new colleagues, ensuring supplies and equipment, and managing breakages and repairs.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications.

Job Description

As the Stewarding Supervisor, you will be an integral member of the team, inspecting all flatware, tableware, and kitchen equipment, and ensuring a superior standard of work.

This is a full-time, permanent role, starting Summer 2026.

Starting Rate of Pay:$26.25 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $30.15

Job Duties Include:

• Lead and supervise the Stewarding team in all aspects of the department and ensure standards are followed
• Supervise and maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other areas assigned
• Responsible for the training of new colleagues
• Ensure the kitchen colleagues have the dishes, silverware and equipment required
