Canada Life is seeking a Disability Medical Coordinator (OT/PT) to join our team in Canada. The role focuses on proactive management of complex disability claims, coordinating with claimants, physicians, and treatment providers to support early return to employability.

You will assess diagnostics and treatment needs, develop cost-effective plans, and maintain clear documentation while collaborating with Case Managers and Rehabilitation Consultants.

Formación

• Regulated healthcare professional with current registration (OT or PT).
• Minimum five years of clinical experience.
• Ability to work in an office and remotely from home.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsabilidades

• Assess impact of medical coordination on disability claim duration.
• Assess diagnostic/treatment needs and develop plans via file review and claimant interviews.
• Develop cost-effective plans to support return to employability.
• Maintain ongoing contact with claimants to resolve barriers and improve function.
• Support Case Managers and Rehabilitation Consultants through the claim process.
• Prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate electronic file documentation and records.
