Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a Disability Management Advisor to lead the disability management program and collaborate with the Human Resources team in a remote-friendly role. The position focuses on assessment, planning, implementation, and coordination of services to support staff health and return to work.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will promote early identification of claims, develop modified work opportunities, and work within a large multi-union environment to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a health discipline plus five years related experience.
• Current registration with the appropriate professional body.
• Demonstrated knowledge of disability management principles and practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain and evaluate the Disability Management program for an assigned NH area.
• Provide case management services including assessing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating options.
• Coordinate with WH&S team to promote highest level of staff physical and mental health.
