Qualifications

• College or university degree in a healthcare program or equivalent is an asset.
• Ability to make meaningful decisions efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of disability management or group benefits is an asset.
• Background in a health-related field is advantageous.
• Comfortable handling both incoming and outgoing calls.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively handle a dedicated caseload within SLAs and turnaround targets.
• Respond to emails and calls in a timely manner.
• Assess claims based on contracts, medical and vocational factors.
• Collaborate with plan sponsors, plan members, providers and internal partners to drive return to work.
• Write letters communicating benefit information based on analysis.
• Demonstrate resilience and empathy when communicating with plan members.
