Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead SME product strategy and commercialization in Toronto. The role focuses on driving segment growth, value proposition enhancements, and new distribution channels through cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in product management, with a focus on financial services or payments.
• Strong ability to engage internal and external commercial and technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and inform product strategy.
• Experience with portfolio optimization, P&L, and business case development.
• Knowledge of SME banking or SME payments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute against our strategy to capture incremental SME segment share and help secure market leadership.
• Analyze market trends, competition, and SME lifecycle journeys to inform product and go-to-market strategies.
• Identify partnership opportunities to drive value proposition improvements and new distribution channels.
• Support and/or lead the implementation of new product development initiatives and portfolio optimization with Services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver on portfolio growth and financial analysis/P&L driver optimization.
• Support business development and account management in customer-facing discussions to advance SME objectives.
• Collaborate with the broader Commercial & New Payment Flows team to design and execute relevant use cases for digital SME solutions.
• Develop sales enablement tools for SMEs with regional teams and ensure sales readiness.
