Job summary

RBC is seeking a Director, Project and Infrastructure Finance (PIF) in Toronto to structure, deliver and manage project finance and PPP transactions. You will lead deal execution from pitch to close, coordinate with clients and external advisors, and help grow RBC's PIF pipeline nationwide.

You will bring market experience, financial modelling and structuring skills to drive growth in support of the PIF team's national mandate.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree with focus in Business, Economics or related field.
3–5 years in project financing with senior debt credit knowledge in renewables or non-recourse project finance.
Strong financial and credit skills with ability to model and interpret sensitivity and scenario worksheets.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; proficient with PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent communication, negotiation and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Structure and deliver project loan transactions in renewable power and other assets.
Act as primary contact for credit submissions and deal presentations.
Develop and maintain a PIF pipeline to win new business.
Monitor PIF loan portfolio and report risk and client needs.
Provide market data and analysis to support marketing and deal structuring.
Collaborate with risk management and capital markets to position RBC.
Mentor Associate Directors PIF.
