Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking a Senior Director for Power & Energy in the Corporate, Infrastructure and Project Finance Group based in Toronto. The role focuses on leading ratings analysis, execution and research for power and energy infrastructure in US and Canada.

You will report to the Head of Power in North America, mentor junior staff, and help shape the strategic direction of the infrastructure team. Candidates should have 10+ years in project finance with strong modelling and communication

Qualifications

• 10+ years of solid project finance related experience in power and energy infrastructure.
• Proven project finance and infrastructure credit skills gained in a bank, rating agency or similar.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent modelling skills and strong Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead ratings analysis, execution and research on North American projects.
• Evaluate innovative credit structures and contribute to criteria development.
• Identify trends and publish industry-focused reports.
• Gather data and documents to produce ratings and credit reports.
• MaintainExternal network and represent Fitch in conferences and meetings.
• Mentor junior team members in Power Infrastructure.
