Job summary
Bank of Montreal in Toronto seeks a Project Finance Analyst to support origination, structuring, and execution of complex lending transactions across power, utilities, infrastructure, and energy sectors. You will analyze credit risk, build financial models, prepare due diligence and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
The role requires strong Excel skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and within a team under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance or economics with strong academics.
- Experience in financial services analyzing corporate, commercial or project finance credit risk.
- Project finance experience and financial modelling ability are assets.
Responsibilities
- Origination and execution support for project finance and structured lending.
- Prepare credit submissions, memoranda and presentations for committees and stakeholders.
- Perform credit analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment across deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to closing and funding, ensuring controls and compliance.
