YW Calgary is seeking a Director, People & Culture to lead HR initiatives aligned with their strategic vision. This full-time role involves developing workplace practices focused on equity, diversity, and inclusion, while managing a diverse team. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and requires extensive HR leadership experience.
Working closely with the Chief Programs & People Officer, the Director, People & Culture acts as a strategic partner to all areas of the organization, executive leadership, and the Human Resources Committee of the Board. Aligned with YW Calgary’s strategic vision of being a workplace of choice and learning organization, this position leads the direction, development, and advancement of YW Calgary’s workplace practices, policies, programs, and services, centered on equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. This role builds networks and represents YW Calgary internally and externally as an ambassador for YW’s purpose, Practice Framework, strategic vision, and social enterprise.
This is a full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week), with standard hours from 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., Monday to Friday. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement—three days in the office and two days remote per week.
