About The Role
We are growing our team in Canada, and adding a strong sales leader to manage a team of experienced sellers while growing a strategic book of business. This person will work closely with the MD, Canada and other sales leaders to grow the market.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the day to day work of a team of AE’s, providing sales strategies and targets to achieve further success in market while remaining objective
- Provide Sales/Deal coaching around difficult or opportunistic accounts, and closing strategic opportunities.
- Own a strategic book of business, with responsibility for both individual and direct report revenue attainment.
- Be an expert in Vistar’s capabilities and differentiators to help the team identify opportunities to leverage them to drive revenue growth and solve business needs.
- Develop trusting and productive relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Join in on and add value during strategic client meetings alongside direct reports
- Cultivate and leverage existing strong key agency and client direct relationships to drive revenue.
- Keep informed of client, market, and competitor changes, providing relevant feedback to the leadership team and other internal groups.
- Lead by example, and be a positive addition to our culture.
What Experience We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of experience in Ad-tech sales, with at least 5 years of experience leading a team
- Proven sales, leadership, communication, and business management skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively provide and receive feedback, especially in regards to difficult or sensitive items
- Strong communication skills; excellent presenter, with innate ability to hold the attention of a room
- Ability to handle highly complex, strategic client issues, requiring conceptual thinking and expert problem-solving techniques.
- Deep understanding of the inner workings of an agency, with established relationships at the leadership and executive level
- Big picture thinking, with a positive attitude and a can-do approach
- Willing to take a hands-on approach to drive revenue, both directly and indirectly
- Possess comprehensive market and company knowledge, staying informed and educated on the industry and market
